Programme is Ready
The Programme is ready! We're proud to present yet another great conference, and I am particularly happy that we succeeded to attract so renowned speakers, who have contributed quite substantially to the field of SDR and Amateur Radio in general.
I would also like to thank the German Amateur Radio Club (Deutscher Amateur Radio Club, DARC) for supporting us. We are part of DARC, we act as a special interest group within the club and we are all members. There is no greater place in German amateur radio, than this society, which hosts and organizes all of the HAMRADIO convention in Friedrichshafen, which I am particularly thankful for. Already now, shortly before the event end of June, I feel I need to express my explicit gratitude to Renate Stackebrandt, who is helping us in the DARC headquarters and who has been like a good fairy making thing possible. My gratutude also goes to Christian Entsfellner, DL3MBG, who has also been supporting us in all these years. Christian is the president of the club, and Software Defined Radio has always been in his mind as the core technology of our hobby (and sometimes also our profession) in the future. He understood the importance of this field of technology from the very beginning and actively supports us whenever we need something. Thanks, Christian!
SDRA - 11th Anniversary
Last year we were able to celebrate 10 years of SDRA. So it is consequent to celebrate the 11th year, even though it is not a round date like last year. But SDR is the key technology in radio, so we keep on going.
The 11th SDRA will take place again on Saturday June 28 in Friedrichshafen as part of the HAMRADIO fair.
